Last Big Push Underway

We’re 10 days out from delivering a screening cut to the American Film Market for our buyer premiere screenings there November 5 and 8. It’s going to take a huge push to get it done in time but I know we can do it. I’m going to re-boot the “live blog” part of this site to chronicle the final push. Hope it doesn’t end up making us sound too helter-skelter, but it is what it is. At this stage of late post production in any indie film — money is very short. In our film, with some of the challenges that have been thrown our way — it’s really, really tight. But we’re getting it done.

The AFM buyer screenings aren’t open to the public; however on November 14th at 7PM we will be having a “Sneak Preview” public screening at the Melbourne Florida Independent Filmmaker’s Festival to which the public is invited — and any of you who read this can come, tickets permitting. So….I’m gong to leave this post at the top of the page for awhile just for orientation, and below you’ll see the “live blogging” of the kick to the finish line in a series of blog posts that I’ll try to do more or less “as they are happening” — as I did during production in the Bahamas. They follow.
