We did it! … sort of.  We ran over 15 minutes so we bought a meal penalty.  Which means instead of eating lunch 6 hours after we started filming, we went 6 hours and 15 minutes which costs us about $500 in penalties paid to the crew for not feeding them within 6 hours.  Oh well — not bad.

Well, we’re almost on schedule.  It’s going to be a photo-finish to see if we can get this done before lunch which is at 1.  We are now turning around — we’ve shot everything from one side.  We now have to change the lighting and shoot from the other side.   I give us a 50-50 chance of making it before lunch.

We’re “in” — meaning no more eating breakfast, work has begun.  We’re pre-lit so we should be shooting shortly.  Actors are going through “the works” (some since 6am) and we look like a fast start is possible.  We have a huge scene to shoot before lunch.  This is scene 26, the scene in which tourists are being given a demonstration of the dolphin studies in the underwater lab.  Here we go.
